Established in the year 2015, VCS Hi-Tech International CBSE School managed by V. V. Chengalvaraya Chettiar Memorial Educational and Charitable Trust rendering a quality education with all-round development. On July 25 2024, an awareness session on organ donation was organised to the students of VC Hitech International School. In this session 68 students of 8^th,9^th and 10^th grade participated.

The session commenced with a warm welcome address from Ms Sri Neelaranjani, Headmistress, she spoke how a small act of kindness can create a bigger impact on others life.  She introduced the speaker Mr Ganesh, MOHAN Foundation, who is also a former student of hers and she feels proud to share the stage with him. The Correspondent Mr VC Sudhakaran and The Principal Mr. Mahesh shared their views on organ donation and how it is essential in saving lives.

Mr Ganesh C, then continued the session with “Donor” short film, spoke about MOHAN Foundation, he then spoke about organ donation, types of donations, brain death, time factor, voluntary body donation, myths, scams and effective use of organ donation helpline. The students were enthusiastic and actively participated in the session. By the end of the session the students were given postcards to showcase their learning from the session through art or through wordings.
