On June 8, 2024, at Shree Saurashtra Patel Samaj Hall in Sanpada, Ms. Prarthana Dwivedi, representing MOHAN Foundation, was invited by Mr. Ramesh Patel, President of the Patel Samaj. The event coincided with a health check-up camp organized by Apollo Hospital for the community members. Ms. Dwivedi commenced the session by outlining MOHAN Foundation's mission and vision, aimed at promoting organ donation. She underscored the significance of both organ and tissue donation, elucidating the types of deaths—such as cardiac and brain death—that facilitate donation.

During the session, Ms. Dwivedi addressed prevalent myths surrounding organ donation, stressing the crucial role of accurate information in dispelling misconceptions within the public. She particularly highlighted the potential for individuals to donate tissues like skin and cornea, even from the comfort of their homes. Additionally, the session delved into the profound impact of organ donation in cases of brain death, illustrating how a single donor can potentially save multiple lives.

The event saw active participation from the community, with attendees engaging deeply in discussions about the importance and logistics of organ donation. Ms. Dwivedi's informative presentation resonated well, prompting a positive response and fostering a greater understanding and support for organ donation within the Patel Samaj community.

The session drew a significant turnout, with approximately 160 members of the Patel Samaj in attendance. Encouragingly, 22 pledges were made on-site, with additional pledges submitted online.
