On the occasion of National Organ Donation Day, MFJCF organized a walkathon to create awareness among the general public of Jaipur city about the noble cause of organ donation.
The walkathon started from Central Park Gate No. 4 and ended at Angdata Smarak, the organ donor memorial on 27th November 2021. The walk was flagged off by Shree Shanti Dhariwal (UDH Minister, Govt of Rajasthan). Many people including the JCF Trustee Shree SS Bhandari, members of Rotary Club Pearl and Young India joined the walk.
After reaching Angdata Smarak, the nursing staff of SDMH Nursing college presented a Nukkad Natak (street play) showcasing all the myths and facts related to organ donation. The play drew attention from all those passing by and helped in creating awareness for the cause.
Following the play, a tribute to organ donors, led by Mrs. Manisha Arora (IAS, Tourism Department) was offered. She emphasized on the importance of organ donation and urged people to support the cause. The event ended with MFJCF thanking everyone who participated in the walk and choosing to support the cause.
