On 31 March 2017, MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness session on organ donation for drivers. This was an initiative of Mr. Sharad Jighkar, Regional Transport Officer, Giripeth, Nagpur. Mr. Bulu Behera delivered a talk on Organ Donation to the drivers who were waiting in the waiting hall. In his talk he explained the following points:-
It was a very interactive session. 20 drivers were present at the talk. 3 drivers signed consent form and took donor card.
The drivers asked the following questions:-
1) Where is MOHAN Foundation office?
2) What is the process of body donation?
3) What is the time duration for liver transplant?
