Dr. J. Amalorpavanathan, Convenor, Cadaver Transplant Programme, Govt. of Tamil Nadu organised a felicitation function in collaboration with MOHAN Foundation & NNOS. The function was held at The Hotel Pride on 18thApril 2013 to celebrate the success of Deceased Organ Donation programme of Tamil Nadu. Transplant Coordinators from the following hospitals were present for the function:

3.Apollo Hospitals
4.Global Hospitals
5.Fortis Malar Hospital
6.MIOT Hospital
7.Madras Medical Mission
8.Kumaran Hospital
The web designers who maintain the Tamil Nadu Organ Sharing Network (TNOS) were also present. Transplant coordinators of MOHAN Foundation who are deputed to Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital & NNOS staff members also joined the team to celebrate the success of Tamil Nadu in the Deceased Organ Donation & transplantation field.
After the celebration the coordinators discussed the challenges faced by them during a multi-organ donation. At the conclusion of the felicitation, it was decided that a formal meeting would be organised to discuss the issues in detail and to draft effective protocols to improve the programme. MOHAN Foundation's transplant coordinators presented a memento to Dr. Amalorpavanathan, State Convenor, as a token of gratitude for his unstinting support towards them in all situations.
