On 9th November 2022, Transplants Help The Poor Foundation and ICICI Foundation organized a talk on organ donation for ICICI Academy students (1st Batch). Mrs. Shushmita Chuckerbutty - Center Head of this academy coordinated with Ms. Prarthana Dwivedi to conduct this talk.
Ms. Prarthana introduced herself and MOHAN Foundation and discussed the below topics about organ donation:
Over all the session was very interactive where participants enthusiastically contributed to the discussion and asked many queries. To name a few:
1. What is the procedure of Eye Donation?
2. Can a diabetic patient donate corneas?
Participants actively participated in the session and expressed their views and opinions about organ donation. The session motivated 18 participants to pledge their organs. Close to 127 participants participated in the event.
We thank Mrs. Shushmita Chuckerbutty for organizing this session and supporting the noble cause of organ donation.
