Screening of God Vulture and Human at the 12th Chennai International Short Film and Documentary Film festival

  • Rishiraj Agarwal Founder, Studio Lichi spent a few months during the COVID epidemic in Hyderabad shadowing a few transplant coordinators in their work.  This film is a result of a collaboration between, MOHAN Foundation, IIM Ahmedabad Centre for Management of Health Services and Studio Lichi.   The 49 minute film is a testament to the unique work done by grief counselors

    The show was at Periyar Thidal, Chetpet, Chennai  on Feb 22, 2024 at 7 pm. It had an audience of more than 60 people. MOHAN Foundation staff of Dr Hemal Kanvinde and Mr Ganesh C were available for the post movie interactions.  There were questions on how to pledge, appreciation for the work of the counselors, and how are organs allocated, importance of family & voluntary body donation.  

    MOHAN Foundation thanks Mr Amudhan R P, curator of the festival for selecting this film and inviting MOHAN foundation. The film won has won the award under the category 'Indian Long/Medium length documentary' in the festival.
