The Tata Mumbai Marathon has served as a symbol of optimism and compassion from Mumbai to the rest of the globe for 18 glorious years, and it is the pride of this city and nation. The competition has not only changed the way long-distance running is practiced in India, but it has also developed into a symbol of the strength of the human spirit and the miracles that can be accomplished when people work together. Yohan Blake of Jamaica, the youngest men's 100-meter world champion in history, served as this year's International Event Ambassador, and his presence in Mumbai is testament of the event's expanding impact.
On 15th January 2023, Mumbai saw more than 55,000 individuals take to the streets at the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2023. 32 runners ran in the category of Dream Run category, raising awareness about organ donation in support of MOHAN Foundation’s work. PVC Converters (INDIA) PVT LTD employees volunteered with the support of VMRT to run the Dream Run wearing MOHAN Foundation’s T-Shirts with the message towards organ donation, in support of the cause. Mr. Vinay Madan an ambassador of organ donation enthusiastically participated in the marathon contributing to the cause of organ donation.
Starting in Azad Maidan, the 5.9 kilometers Dream run marathon was completed. All of the volunteers were delighted and motivated to support the cause of organ donation after receiving their medals following the marathon.
