MOHAN Foundation was invited by the Regional Transport Office, Anna Nagar for conducting an awareness program on Organ Donation on 7th September 2018. The target audience was the public who come to get their Learner’s License Registration and Driving License. Mr. Siva Shankar, Helpline Executive conducted the session where around 25 people were in attendance.
Before the start of the session green ribbons and brochures were distributed to the people in order to pass on some basic information about organ donation. Siva Shankar began the session by explaining the need for organ donation and the reason why organ donation was being discussed at a RTO. He explained the following in detail:
