WORK (World Organisation of Religion and Knowledge) celebrated 37 years of service today by recognizing the remarkable contributions of 36 NGOs, including MFJCF. The event marked a significant milestone in advancing organ donation, particularly within the Muslim community. Despite facing opposition, including fatwas, WORK secured 36 pledges and committed to further expanding this initiative, stating that 400 members from their organization, mostly Muslims, are expected to come forward to pledge for this noble cause, effectively dispelling misconceptions that organ donation is against Islamic teachings. An executive emphasized that saving a life is a noble deed in Islam, encouraging more people to join this life-saving cause.
