On 6th August, 2013 a rally to create awareness on organ donation was organised by Jeevandhan, Andhra Pradesh State Government programme for organ donation and transplantation. The rally was organised to mark the occasion of Organ Donation Day. The rally was organised at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) Hospital, Hyderabad. Transplant coordinators from different hospitals in the city, eye bank counsellors and representative of MOHAN Foundation participated in the rally to support the cause.
