The nine day motorbike marathon has been flagged off by Thiru T. Rajendran, I.P.S., Commissioner of Police, Chennai and Rev. Dr. A. Albert Muthumalai S.J., Principal, Loyola College, Chennai on September 9th 2009. MOHAN Foundation’s 6 young volunteers: Kamal Hasan B, Sudhakar P, Sethu Raman KP, John Marcus B, Gokulakrishnan and Magesh B will ride across 2000 km of Tamil Nadu.
Their Objective is simple; to create awareness of the importance of organ donation in the smaller pockets of the Tamil Nadu state.

As the "Rally for Life" passes through each of these cities, with the co-ordinated efforts of Friends of MOHAN Foundation, there are seminars, street plays, talks, and the honoring of Donor families taking place.
