On 4th September, 2022, Agam foundation organised an awareness program along with MOHAN Foundation at Chennai Central Metro station. Mr. Ganesh, (Marketing coordinator) MOHAN Foundation arranged an information desk with information brochures, standees, green ribbon and donor cards. He was assisted by Ms Arshiya Fathima, Helpline Executive of MOHAN Foundation.
The program started at 9:00 AM with the help of CMRL Central staion, Central Police and volunteers of Agam Foundation (medical students that help others in medical education). The volunteers had varied duties such as to gather crowd, to distribute information brochures, explain about eye donation and registration of a pledge.
Mr. Ganesh, Ms. Arshiya Fathima and volunteers gave awareness on eye donation and organ donation. Many people visited the information desk and 103 people registered for donation. Queries asked how to register through helpline. Mr. Ganesh explained about the helpline no.1800 103 7100 and about the registration.
At noon the information desk was closed. Agam volunteers thanked MOHAN foundation with memento. MOHAN foundation gave a special thanks to Agam foundation, volunteers, Central Police and supporting staff in Central Metro Station.
