Mr. Sharad Jighkar, Regional Transport Officer, Giripeth, Nagpur invited MOHAN foundation to conduct an awareness session on organ donation in the training hall. This was for drivers who apply for vehicle registration and driving license and was held on 16 June 2017.
Mr. Bulu Behera, transplant coordinator delivered a talk on Organ Donation. In his talk he explained the following points:-

v Who can donate
v Type of organ donation
v Brain Death Natural Death and Coma
v Myths related to Organ donation
v Deceased donation case in Nagpur
v Kidney transplant hospital in Nagpur
v Importance of Donor card, Helpline number and website
It was a very interactive session. 24 drivers were present at the talk. 2 drivers signed consent form and took donor card. They asked the following questions:-
