An awareness talk on organ donation was organised at the corporate office of Jones Lang LaSalle, Chennai on 25th of July, 2013. The talk was addressed to the staff of Jones Lang LaSalle.
The session was conducted by Ms. Kavitha, Transplant Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation. An introductory talk was given about the activities of MOHAN Foundation. The talk concentrated on how one can give the gift of life to their fellow human beings through organ donation. The importance of donating organs, who, how and when the organs can be donated was also stressed.
A total of 25 participants actively listened to the talk. The group of active corporate staff of Jones Lang LaSalle raised questions about the process of organ donation and other related doubts on organ donation. At the end of the session many 11 officers signed the registry and eagerly collected the donor cards.
