MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness session on 29thOctober,2023 at Bikaram Baba temple Asthi, Wardha in Maharashtra. Mr.Rajesh Wagh invited Mr.Bulu Behera to conducted session on the day of Kojagiri Purinima.
Mr. Bulu began the session by explaining the current rate of organ donation and the gap between the demand and supply of organs. He then explained the basic concepts of organ donation and transplantation with the help of a PowerPoint presentation. The following topics were explained in detail:
Overall the session was very interactive where participants curiously contributed to the discussion & asked many queries.
1) What is the process to pledge for Organ donation?
2) Career prospects & training in Organ Donation & Transplantation.
Approximately 40 members attended the session & 1 of them pledged for the Eye donation & organ donation.
