


On 10th January 2018, MOHAN Foundation was invited for an awareness programme on organ donation at G.K. Jain School, Royapuram at 2.30 P.M. Dr. Hemal Kanvinde and Ms. R. Suganya represented MOHAN Foundation. Staff of G. K. Jain School organized this session in association with Times of India (TOI).
Approximately 75 students of 10th and 11th standards attended the Awareness Program held in the school conference hall. All the staff and students who attended this session were given green ribbons and information brochures.
Dr. Hemal Kanvinde, Quality Assurance Officer, MOHAN Foundation explained about the Organ Donation, when & how to donate organs and importance of Organ donation to the student. This was followed by a talk on the concept of Organ Donation & Brain death. The concept of Brain death was explained with the help of Presentations & films.
Ms. Suganya conducted a quiz game to the students “Connection” based on organ donation. At the end of the session students asked doubts about kidney donation and their questions were answered by Dr. Hemal Kanvinde. More than 50 students took a donor card to give to their parents. This session ended with the group photo.
