On July 18, 2022 an awareness program was organized for the staff of Chakradhara Aerospace and Cargo Private Limited, Coimbatore. In spite of harsh weather, 60 dedicated employees stayed back to attend the awareness program that the HR team had taken great effort in organizing. Mr Ganesh C, Marketing Coordinator MOHAN Foundation was deputed to conduct the program.
The event commenced with welcome address by Mr. Sasikumar, HR, who gave a briefing about the need for the awareness. Then Mr Ganesh C, Marketing Coordinator, spoke about MOHAN Foundation and its major activities. Then begun a 40-minute interactive awareness session on Organ Donation and Transplantation. Information about donation of organs and tissues, brain death, procedures and the importance of a donor card were given to the audience.
Some employees shared their experience regarding organs donation - being approached by fraudsters. The session ended with a short film “Donor” by Vijay. Mr. Sasikumar came forward to pledge for eye donation to be a motivation for the office staff.
MOHAN Foundation thanks Mr. Jeevagan R, Senior Manager – Planning and Project for creating the opportunity and Mr. Sasikumar and Mr. Magesh Babu Plant Head for organizing the event. To promote the Organ Donation and Transplant Helpline, they have placed the bike stickers and MOHAN Foundation brochures at security office, so the interested employees can use them wisely.
