The first year MSW (Master’s degree in Social Work) students of S.D.N.B Vaishav College, Chennai, visited MOHAN Foundation for an orientation on organ donation as part of their field work curriculum. The students were given orientation by Ms.Veena, Transplant Coordinator, about MOHAN Foundation and its activities, the concept of organ donation, the counseling process involved and brain death certification. The students were an enthused lot who put forth interesting questions, which were answered. They were also played videos on organ donation. A few students made a request to conduct similar awareness programmes for community groups known to them. All the students picked up the donor card and agreed to take home the message of organ donation.
