On 25.05.2018– Mr. Kameswaran (CSR) of Suryoday Small Finance Bank invited MOHAN Foundation Office to deliver an awareness talk on organ donation. It was held at Suryoday, offices for the members under Joint Liabilities group (Self Help group). Around 35 members participated in the program.
Firstly, Dileep Kumar. S. Transplant Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation deputed to Tanjavur Government Hopsital, Thanjavur, was the speaker at the session. He introduced himself to the Joint Liabilities Group members and after that he interacted with the audience to check their knowledge about organ donation and transplantation. This was followed by a presentation on the Concepts of Organ Donation.
During the presentation following points were covered:
1. Transplantation of Human Organs Act.
2. How can we save many lives through organ donation?
3. How can patients register for organ transplant?
