On 12 April 2024, organ donation awareness session was conducted at social service department of GMCH Nagpur. This Session was conducted for the students of seva foundation. All the students visited social service department and they wanted to know about the organ donation so MS Bhagyashree has explained them about organ donation. students were present.
Following points were explained by MS Bhagyashree:
1.Concept of organ donation and tissue donation
2.Concept and definition of Brain death
3.Types of death- Brain death and cardiac death
4.Organs and tissues donated after brain death and circulatory death
5.How one can save lives of 8 people.
Following Questions were asked by people who came to pledge as an organ donor 8 people attended the session.
.1. Is body handed over to family after organ donation?
2.What is the age limit for organ donation?
3.Ratio of the people who gives consent for organ donation.
