The Corporator Candidate of Siddheshwari Nagar, Nagpur, Mr. Sachin Lonkar had requested Mr. Bulu Behera, Transplant Coordinator of MOHAN Foundation to organize an awareness session on organ donation for his locality members. Mr. Lonkar understands the importance of the cause very well and the event was organized on 2nd October 2021.
Mr. Bulu Behera began the session by introducing MOHAN Foundation, its mission and vision, and proceeded to explain the following:
Mr. Behera also gave information about body donation and hand transplant. 70 people were present and 6 of them pledged to donate organs, signed consent forms, and took donor cards.
