On September 18, 2018 MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Shanmugasundaram, Branch Manager (Junction Branch) and Mr. Pechiyappan, (CSR) of Suryoday Small Finance Bank, Salem, to deliver an awareness talk on organ donation. The participants were the female members of a Joint Liability Group; around 60 members from 8 centers were in attendance at the programme.
Mr. S. Dileep Kumar from MOHAN Foundation was introduced to the audience by Mr. Pechiyappan. Mr. Dileep Kumar began by trying to comprehend the participants’ level of understanding of organ donation and transplantation through an interactive session. He then continued with a presentation on the topic and covered the following points:
Members from the audience shared their thoughts, personal experiences, asked a few questions and also offered some ideas. Following this Mr. Shanmugasundaram thanked Mr. Dileep Kumar for conducting the session on organ donation at Suryoday Small Finance Bank.
