An organ donation awareness session was conducted for the students of Thrissur Medical College on 15th August 2021. The event was organised by the institution’s NSS unit and Swasthiya Health Club, who had initiated a one-month campaign, ‘Indriya’ exclusively to spread the message of organ donation and to motivate people to sign up as organ donors.
MOHAN Foundation was invited to deliver an awareness talk during the campaign launch event. Around 80 students, mostly from the fourth year of medicine attended the talk. Ms. Kavitha Aneesh, Transplant Coordinator, addressed the audience on the following topics:
The session ended with a motivational story, link for signing up as organ donor and helpline number, being shared with the audience.
