On 20th April 2021, Mr. Bulu Behera was invited by Dr. Ravi Shankar Mor of Dr. Ambedkar Law College in Dighori, Nagpur, to conduct an online awareness session to sensitize their LLB 1st semester students.
Mr. Bulu Behera, after introducing MOHAN Foundation and its activities, shared information about the concepts and process of organ donation, organs and tissues that can be donated and need for spreading awareness about organ donation. He then went on to discuss some of the common myths that deter the public from committing to the cause of organ donation; also shared were inspiring stories of organ donors and recipients.
Mr. Bulu Behera also invited the participants to join MOHAN Foundation’s volunteers’ program. He gave details of the organ donation helpline number 18001037100 and donor card link to register was also shared.
Around 60 students were present and 20 of them pledged to donate their organs.
