Mr. Lalit Dhule, Secretary of the Shitala Mata Mandir in Giripeth, Nagpur invited Mr. Bulu Behera, Transplant Coordinator of MOHAN Foundation to organize an awareness session on organ donation for the devotees visiting the temple. The event was organized on 10th October 2021.
Mr. Bulu Behera began the session by introducing MOHAN Foundation, its mission and vision, and proceeded to explain the following:
Mr. Behera also gave information about body donation and hand transplant. Around 45 devotees were reached out to and 10 of them pledged to donate organs, signed consent forms, and took donor cards.
