Organ Donation Awareness at Adi Dravidar Welfare Boys School

  • Auxilium Centre for Rural Underprivileged Women and Youth Empowerment (ARUYWE) organized an awareness on Human Trafficking through “Street Play” for the students of Adi Dravidar Welfare Boys School on August 21, 2024. MOHAN Foundation was given an opportunity to create awareness on organ donation as part of the session.  Around 72 students attended the session.

    The event commenced with Ms. Kamala delivering the welcome address.  Then the street play was done emphasizing on the following:

    • Human Trafficking
    • Not trusting the strangers
    • Organ Trafficking
    • Now entrusting our family & Friends ones to strangers
    • Seeking parents for support
    • Safeguarding ourselves

    Mr. Ganesh C, from MOHAN Foundation created awareness on organ donation, he spoke about brain death, types of donations, government schemes, how to get support from government and effective usage of organ donation Helpline 1800 103 7100.

    MOHAN Foundation extends its gratitude to ARUWYE and the HM of Adi Dravidar Welfare Boys School for the opportunity.
