SPOT (Subbarayan Parimala Centre for Orthopaedics and Traumatology) Hospital invited MOHAN Foundation for an awareness program on Organ Donation for their staff and the patients who visits the hospital on 30th July 2018 at 2 PM. Mr. T. S. Siva Shankar, helpline Executive, MOHAN Foundation was deputed for the session. 10 patients and care givers attended the session.
Mr. Siva Shankar distributed information brochures and started the session by asking the whether they have heard of “Organ Donation?” Every one said that they have heard of Organ Donation but did not know the details.
He explained the activities of MOHAN Foundation and need for organ donation. He explained the following:
The session was attended by 10 members and 2 registered as organ donors. MOHAN Foundation thanks Dr. Sujatha Ramesh Babu who supports and invites MOHAN Foundation to promote organ donation in hospital.
