MOHAN Foundation was invited by Gujatarthi Samajam, Coimbatore, on 5th April 2011. Around 100 members from the Gujarathi Samajam attended the session. The Executive Director Mr.Pratap Gokuldas briefed about MOHAN FOUNDATION and the importance of organ donation. Mr.Arun Gokuldas spoke about the importance of blood donation. The Transplant Coordinator from MOHAN Foundation screened a short film on organ donation and explained the concept of brain death, organ donation, eye donation and organ allocation. He also spoke about the importance of creating awareness, legal and ethical issues, and myths about organ donation. Valuable questions were raised by the participants.
