The JCT College of Engineering and Technology was established in Pichanur, Coimbatore in 2009, considering the growing demands for technical education. The Management strives hard to enhance the professional knowledge, skills, and attitudes of educators, so that they might in turn improve the learning process of students.
On August 12, 2023, an online awareness session on Organ Donation and Transplantation was organized for students of Bio Technology and staff of JCT College of Engineering and Technology. The session begun with Dr. G. Gnanavel, Professor, Biotech and Biochemical Engg. Dept. introducing the speakers. Mr Ganesh C, Marketing Coordinator of MOHAN Foundation walked the audience through the concept of organ donation and transplantation, brain death, availing organ through govt., myths, scams, pledging as organ donor and effective usage of organ donation helpline number 1800 103 7100.
Dr Hemal Kanvinde, Quality Assurance Manager, overviewed the session and spoke about the Organ Donation Ambassador program, and shared the details the institution. 23 students and staff participated in the session.
