MOHAN Foundation is pleased to announce its One Week Transplant Coordinators’ Training April 7-11, 2015 at the Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon.
This programme is being organized in partnership with FORT (Fortis Organ Retrieval & Transplant). FORT was established in 2012 with an aim to promote and streamline the process of organ donation following brain death in hospitals of Fortis Healthcare Ltd and to contribute to the larger deceased organ donation scenario in the country.
The success of organ donation and transplantation depends upon good counseling and coordination by transplant coordinators. The Transplantation of Human Organs (Amendment) Act, 2011, has made Transplant Coordinator nomination mandatory before a hospital is registered as a Transplant Centre. This means there is a huge requirement of Transplant Coordinators in close to 400 Transplant centres in the country.
In order to meet the growing demand for Transplant Coordinators, MOHAN Foundation has embarked upon training programs to suit the needs of these health care professionals. We have conducted several training programmes in the country and trained close to 750 transplant coordinators over the past five years.
We invite applications from Doctors, Nurses, Social Workers, Patient Coordinators, Dialysis Technicians, PR Managers, Hospital Administrators to avail this unique opportunity.
Certificate of the Training programme will be given to candidates who attend the entire programme, and have passed the written test, which will be conducted on the last day of the training programme.
Venue: Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon ( Next to HUDA Metro station)
Registration fee: INR 6000 (inclusive of tea, lunch and delegate kit)
