We are happy to announce that the “One Week Transplant Coordinators’ Training Program” will be conducted from 14th to 18th November 2016 in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. This program is being organized by MOHAN Foundation under the aegis of National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization(NOTTO) in collaboration with Jeevandan Andhra Pradesh & Ramesh Hospitals, Guntur.
The success of organ donation and transplantation depends upon good counseling and coordination by transplant coordinators. The Transplantation of Human Organs (Amendment) Act, 2011, has made Transplant Coordinator nomination mandatory before a hospital is registered as a Transplant Centre. This means there is a huge requirement of Transplant Coordinators in close to 400 Transplant centres in the country.
In order to meet the growing demand for Transplant Coordinators, MOHAN Foundation has embarked upon training programs to suit the needs of these health care professionals. We have conducted several training programs in the country and trained over 1000 transplant coordinators over the past six years.
We invite applications from Doctors, Nurses, Social Workers, Patient Coordinators, Dialysis Technicians, PR Managers, Hospital Administrators to avail this unique opportunity.
Certificate of the training program will be given to candidates who attend the entire program, and have passed the written test, which would be conducted on the last day of training program.
Venue: Ramesh Hospitals, beside Hindu College grounds, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.
Registration Fee: INR 5000/- (Payment should be made by cash/cheque/DD/Bank Transfer through NEFT/RTGS).
The fee includes delegate kit and training manual. This training program is a non-residential training program. Outstation participants will have to make their own accommodation arrangements.
