  • On March 22, 2025, MOHAN Foundation, NATCO, and TRIOMPH collaborated to organize a Mental Health Awareness Workshop aimed at spreading awareness and providing valuable insights into mental health and well-being, for Transplant Coordinators and Recipients. Ms. Aashritha Mathur was the expert speaker. She shared valuable insights on mental health, self-care, and the importance of maintaining mental wellness.

The workshop focused on raising awareness about the significance of mental health, breaking the stigma surrounding mental health disorders, recognizing the signs and symptoms of mental health challenges, and offering practical tips for self-care. Ms. Mathur also emphasized the importance of fostering open conversations about mental wellness, encouraging individuals to seek help when needed.

Additionally, the workshop highlighted the importance of creating a supportive environment, both at home and in the workplace, where individuals feel empowered to seek help without fear of judgment. The speaker illustrated different situations through real life examples, which helped the audience to relate to the challenges very well.

Some of the thought-provoking questions raised during the session included:

    1. Why do people take sleeping pills during depression?
    2. What are some quick techniques to deal with anxiety at the moment?
    3. What are your thoughts on the physical health effects of mental health?

Around 40 participants attended and actively interacted with the speaker. Our special thanks to Ms. Aashritha Mathur for sharing her time and expertise.
