On 22nd October 2013, Rotary Club of Chennai - Coastal and Rajan Eye Care organized an eye screening camp at Shan Royal Hotel, Arumbakkam. They invited MOHAN Foundation to place an organ donation information stall at their venue. Mr. Ashok R, Trainee Transplant Coordinator and Mr. M. Jeyabal, Transplant Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation, Chennai manned the stall. Donor cards, information pamphlets, banner and one standee were placed at the stall.
The following topics were explained to the visitors & the hotel employees.
Some people were interested to visit the stall & asked about organ donation. 40 people were given information by the Transplant coordinators about brain death/organ donation. 2 of them picked donor cards.
