MOHAN Foundation conducted its third session of awareness talks for auto drivers in Chennai on October 15th 2018. Mr Amal Antony Augustian, Intern from MMM College of Health Sciences approached auto drivers near Chetpet railway station. Information brochures, green ribbons and donor cards were distributed among them. Mr Amal explained the concepts of organ donation also answered questions that were asked.
Stickers that contain the helpline number of MOHAN Foundation were also distributed to them. 3 drivers agreed to support the cause by pasting the stickers on their auto rickshaws. They were gifted ‘Proud to be an Organ Donor’ badges for supporting this social cause. MOHAN Foundation thanks the auto drivers for participating in this initiative.
