MOHAN Foundation was invited by Ms.Sonia Verma of Worley Parsons to conduct an awareness drive for their 800 odd employees at their offices in Thane, Hyderabad and Chennai on the 23rd of August, 2016, as part of their Founder Day celebrations.
The drive was conducted on the same day of 23rd August 2016, at all their offices. Stalls were set up at Thane and Hyderabad offices while an hour long awareness session was conducted at their Chennai office.
Teasers were circulated on daily basis prior to the drive. On the day of the drive, announcements were made over the PA system about Organ Donation so as to reach out to maximum number of employees and to make them aware of the drive being held.
Employees who approached the stall were explained the facts, barriers and myths in relation with Organ donation. Many of their queries were satisfactorily addressed at the stall.
Around 30 employees signed up for Donor Cards at the Thane office while around 25 signed up at the Hyderabad office.
