On 6th August 2017, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the organizers to setup a stall for conducting an organ donation drive during the massive 18 hour Lalbaug cha Raja Blood Donation Drive at Lalbaug, Mumbai.
Mr. Amit A Shenoy along with the Angels of Change volunteers of Yerala Medical College, Belapur and MD College, Parel helped answer the queries raised by the participants of the blood donation drive and those who donated blood for a noble cause to their satisfaction.
Out of the 15,141 blood donors at the drive, 160 blood donors chose to pledge their organs/tissues through MOHAN Foundation.
We are indebted to the organizers of the Lalbaug cha Raja Blood Donation Drive for providing us with an opportunity and supporting us in our noble cause of organ donation.
