MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. M.S. Moorthy, HR Manager of Medplus Health Services India Ltd. to conduct an awareness session on organ donation for their employees at their corporate office on December 07, 2015.

The session began with a welcome note by Dr. Surendra Mantena, COO of Medplus Health Services India Ltd. Dr. Koti Reddy of MOHAN Foundation gave an exclusive presentation about the importance of deceased organ donation, religious and cultural barriers involved with organ donation & eye donation, benefits of transplantation, THO 1994 Act, concept of brain death and myths surrounding organ donation.
There were about 100 employees that were present during the session and were explained on advantages of deceased organ donation, requirement and availability of organs for ill patients and legal aspects involved in organ donation.
