MOHAN Foundation was invited by Vikasa Tarangini, an active cultural group formed with the blessings of Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Sriman Narayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji that promotes healthy living with a spiritual touch, for the awareness session and rally on 30th December 2014. The rally began from Sarada College and ended at Gokaraju Gangaraju Kalyana Mandapam in Muthyalampadu.
There were more than 250 participants that have actively participated in the event and rally which included college students and volunteers of Vikasa Tarangini. All the participants were distributed donor cards, family donor cards, information brochures and activity reports.
Ms. Shanti of MOHAN Foundation spoke about importance of deceased organ donation, benefits of transplantation, T.H.O 1994 Act, concept of brain death and myths surrounding organ donation, religion and organ donation.
We thank the members of Vikasa Tarangini for organizing such an event and rally to promote organ donation.
