On 13th September, 2013 an awareness session on organ donation and transplantation was organized for the persons in-charge of the Ganesh Mandaps in the Chadarghat region, Hyderabad. Mr. Venkat Reddy, Circle Inspector, Chadarghat Police Station invited MOHAN Foundation to conduct the session. The Police personnel and local leaders from the region also participated in the session.
Dr. Bhanu Chandra, Project Manager, MOHAN Foundation, Hyderabad addressed the gathering and educated them about organ donation. A public education stall was also set up to clarify the doubts raised by the visitors. Around 60 members visited the stall to pick up donor cards and information brochures.
