MOHAN Foundation was invited by Sri. Venkateshwara Rao to conduct an awareness session on organ donation during the inauguration of free judgment sessions court at Vijayawada on April 19, 2015.
There were about 200 participants that were distributed donor cards and information brochures. Ms Shanti explained the purpose, necessity, importance, complex issues in deceased organ donation, concept of brain death, cultural and religious barriers, THO Act and myths related to organ donation.
We thank Sri. Venkateshwara Rao for his kind support and Sri. Murali, District Judge for his gracious presence at the awareness session and also the members of Senior Citizens Welfare Association for their kind support in organizing the event for a noble cause.
