On 12th February 2021, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Ms. Reetu, Program Officer, NSS, Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy, Sector - 26, Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation for their NSS students. Around 100 students attended the session.
Ms. Reetu addressed the students telling them about how important is organ donation and it provides the opportunity to improve the quality of life and saving lives of others. It is the greatest gift one can ever give.
Participants were given an introduction and presentation on organ donation and brain death by Ms. Neha Sharma Katoch.
In this talk, she explained the following points: -
All the students got motivated and convinced to support organ donation. Our special thanks to Mr. Bikram Rana, Liaison Officer, NSS Chandigarh Administration for making us permanent resource person for all NSS sessions at Chandigarh Educational Institutions.
