On 23rd February 2021, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the secretary, Red Cross - Punjab, Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation for their First Aid Students at Vivekanand Bhawan, Chandigarh. Around 25 participants from various parts of Punjab, Haryana & Chandigarh College Students, Patient Care Attendants, Home Nursing, Nannies and Bus Conductors participated in the program.
Participants were given an introduction and presentation on organ donation and brain death by Ms. Neha Sharma Katoch.
In this talk, she explained the following points: -
Ms. Neha explained the importance of eye donation and the whole process of eye donation. The participants were very excited during the presentation and contributed to the discussion. Entire group got motivated and convinced to support organ donation.
