On 10th December 2020, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the secretary, Red Cross - Punjab, Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation for their First Aid Students at Vivekanand Bhawan, Chandigarh. Around 12 participants from various parts of Punjab, Haryana & Chandigarh College Students, Patient Care Attendants, Home Nursing, Nannies and Bus Conductors participated in the program.
Participants were given an introduction and presentation on organ donation and brain death by Ms. Neha Sharma Katoch.
In this talk, she explained the following points: -
There was a lady in Red Cross who saw program “Karamveer” and she was so motivated with the cause, She took donor card for herself and for family. The entire group got motivated and convinced to support organ donation and they would love to share their wish with their families.
