On 29th August 2016, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the Secretary, Red Cross – Punjab, Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk for their first aid students at Vivekanand Bhawan, Chandigarh. Around 58 Students from Various parts of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pardesh and Chandigarh, College Students, Patient care Attendants and Home Nursing Participated in the session.
Students were given an introduction and presentation on Organ Donation and Brain Death by Deepika Arora. In this talk she explained all aspects like what is Organ Donation, Types of donations, Types of death, Myths Related to Organ Donation, Importance of Donor card. Difference between Brain Death and coma.
It was indeed an interactive Session wherein the participants asked various questions. Information Brochures were distributed to them.
