On 24th August 2016, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the secretary, Red Cross – Punjab, Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk for their first aid students at Vivekanand Bhawan, Chandigarh. Around 55 Students from Various parts of Punjab, Hayana and Chandigarh, College Students, Patient care Attendants and Home Nursing Participated in the session.
Students were given an introduction and presentation on Organ Donation and Brain Death by Deepika Arora.

Types of donations – Live and Deceased Donation
Importance of Donor card
Types of Death
Myths Related to Organ Donation
Difference between Natural Death and Brain Death
The students showed their keen interest to do more and take the cause further.
