On 21st December 2024, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mrs. Seema Chaudary NSS Program Officer in Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector-37 B Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk on Organ Donation for their NSS Students. Approximately 75 students attended the session.
Students were given an introduction on how important is Organ donation and tissue donation and too many people waiting for transplant by Ms. Neha Sharma.
She explained the following points: -
A short informative film on brain death was also shown and the importance of family consent in the process of organ donation was explained to the students
All the students got motivated and convinced to support organ donation. Students did applaud in the end for the efforts taken by MOHAN Foundation.
