On 12th December 2023, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Shashi NSS Program Officer in Government Model Senior Secondary School, ManiMajra Town Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk on Organ Donation for their NSS Students. Approximately 90 students from class 12th attended the session.
Mr. Shashi, NSS Program Officer addressed the students and gave a brief introduction on Organ Donation to their students.
Students were given an introduction & presentation on how important is Organ donation and tissue donation and too many people waiting for transplant by Ms. Neha Sharma.
In this talk she explained the following points: -
A short informative film on brain death was also shown and the importance of family consent in the process of organ donation was explained to the students
All the students got motivated and convinced to support organ donation. Students did applaud in the end for the efforts taken by MOHAN Foundation.
