On 26th June 2019, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the Commandant, Col Harmanjeet Singh Brar to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation for their NCC Cadets, 09 ANOs, 07 JCOs. Around 900 Cadets from schools and colleges of Punjab participated in the program.
Col Harmanjeet Singh Brar addressed the audience telling them about the importance of Organ Donation and the need for organ donors has never been greater. There are far more people in need of a transplant than there are people willing to donate an organ.
Firstly, Ms. Neha Sharma introduced herself to the participants and after that she asked the participants questions to check their knowledge about organ donation and transplantation.
In this talk she explained the following points: -
The awareness talk ended with a vote of thanks by the JCO Shri. Jaspreet Singh. He encouraged the Cadets to be aware and spread the message of organ donation. The entire group was motivated and it was an interactive session. All the questions were answered after the presentation and 150 donor cards were picked up by the cadets along with Commandant, Col. Harmanjee Singh Brar and the ANOs.
In the end they showed great interest in doing more programs with MOHAN Foundation. Special thanks to Col Harmanjeet Singh Brar for inviting MOHAN Foundation.
