On 2nd November, 2015, MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness session at the NCC Academy, Ropar where students from District Jalandhar, Punjab had participated. Around 300 students were present at the camp along with their college in charge.
Students were given a presentation in which the process of organ donation is explained and the phenomenon of brain death was explained by Mr.Dewan and Nilakshi. Students asked many relevant questions regarding organ donation and interacted and shared their experiences related to organ donation and eye donation. It was indeed a great experience to work with the NCC cadets.
Students were really interested to take the cause further as awareness on the same issue is required and the young people can bring this change.
